About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find a job. And write a book.
ABOUT ME
I decided it was time for something new here. Let's see:
-I like to make lists
-Tracers make me happy
-I love to program (yes, I know I'm a nerd)
-I was scared when I first tried couchsurfing
-I learned about CS from an Australian-South African couple (who were living in Israel) while we were all in Jordan.
-My favorite tea is Egyptian Licorice
-I think that imaginary pirates are cool, but real pirates are scary and bad.
-I can read and write backwards
-My right hip is only partially functional
-Dive bars are my favorite bars
- I can tie a bowline, clove hitch, truckers hitch, and turks head fairly reliably.
PHILOSOPHY
Dirty hands are cleaner than clean hands.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf. I spread the love. I think happy, couch-centric thoughts. I organize meetups in foreign cities. (I'm up to three, but they've all been in Manila)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Hawai'i with Leo, Casey, and Claude (and Heather, who doesn't live there). It was great! I also couchsurfed in Kodiak, Alaska with Betty. It was an amazing experience and I was able to meet so many wonderful and fascinating people. I've also had a seder-surfer, and hung out with travellers in NYC.
