About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Little by little, I'm setting out on adventures and trying new things. Someday I'll set foot on every continent, and that journey begins now.
ABOUT ME
I've been given a second chance at life since beating cancer. This time around, I'm taking every opportunity to have an adventure, and create a story that I'll be proud of when I can't go on any longer.
I work incredibly hard to maintain a healthy work/life balance, and while I'm getting myself healthy again, I want to succeed in doing everything that I was too afraid of in my previous life. Outdoors is my sanctuary, where I adore spending time doing everything from hiking to climbing rocks, the latter being my favorite past time.
Meeting new people and getting a real peek at travel destinations is intriguing to me, and I can't wait to see where this journey leads me.
PHILOSOPHY
Too often do we, as humans, spend our days fearing what may come, or dwelling on days that have gone by. I try to appreciate each day that I have, or I may miss out on something truly amazing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to couch surfing, but as soon as I can manage some new furniture, I'm definitely willing to host people in my neck of the woods.
Interests
I spend most of my spare time bouldering, top-rope climbing, or catching movies and such with friends. I'll enjoy a pub once in a while, but try to keep myself healthy. I spend time working on Android development and mobile phone apps, and generally have at least a few devices with me at all times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent my formative years in Australia with my family, and we moved back to the States when I was 13. I've been back several times, and really consider it a second home to me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Though I play tech support in my day-job, the last year of my life has taught me to appreciate the very small things in our life that we truly take for granted. I try to share that with the people that I meet, in hopes that they can find something new in their lives that may have been there all along, but makes them smile.
