About Me

I'm a 24 year old girl from Italy. I have lived most of my life in Sardinia, a wonderful island surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. When I was 17 years old I did a school exchange year in Berlin, and this experience changed my life. Then I spent four years in Trieste studying languages at university and now I'm back in Berlin!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet new people and make new experiences. I also think that visiting a new place with a local and being able to get an insider's view of a city is a much better way of traveling.

Interests

I am totally in love with the sea. Without the sea I would feel lost. That's probably one of the consequences of growing up on an island...

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared: this book is absolutely hilarious. The movie is also nice.
Harry Potter: I will always hope there is some magic in me.
Relatos de una mujer borracha: this book is also hilarious.
Donde nadie te encuentre: a great book written by a great Spanish writer, Alicia Jimenez Bartlett. Read all of her books, you won't regret it.
The Master and Margarita: I couldn't stop laughing while reading this book. No wonder a guy on the train was looking at me in a strange way. We later became friends.
The Yellow Eyes of Crocodiles: the first book of a very nice trilogy written by a French author. Then if you like it, there is also a second trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year, on the 2nd of January, I went kayaking with some friends in my beautiful island's sea. It may not seem something that incredible, but being there on a wonderful sunny day and with almost no boats around was really an amazing experience.
