About Me
Hello,
My name is CJ.
I am a photographer that lives in San Francisco. You can always catch me on the out photographing and documenting people in the many neighborhoods in the city. When I'm not snapping away, I am usually traveling and visiting other places that interest me. It's where I feel the most home.
I am currently working on another street photography book and a documentary at the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very new to this. A friend, who works at CS, referred me to this site. I have found it so easy to navigate and find like minded travelers. Currently I am traveling to Europe where I am visiting many different countries. I am working on a photo/film documentary on street photography. I am also working on a film documenting the refugee crisis. My goal is is to interview people in the many different countries I visit. So far that will be Stockholm, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Hungary and Czech Republic. I am hoping to better understand the situation and learn the truth of what is happening around these countries. I feel witnessing it first hand is the best way. I would love to interview you as well and get your thoughts on the matter.
Interests
I currently work at Google for Indoor Maps department. Working there has given me the opportunity to travel all over the United States and Canada on the company's dime. Which is really nice. I have been fortunate to meet and visit some wonderful people and places.
As a photographer I document all my adventures. This last year I was fortunate to visit 27 different states. I also travelled all through Canada. I am looking to continue these adventures in Europe in April.
I also attend and photograph lot of concerts. It's really great to meet the artist's behind the songs I love. If you wish to view my work my site is at clucerophotos.
