About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Relaxing after finishing school
ABOUT ME
I grew up in San Diego, California and spent my undergraduate years at Harvey Mudd College in Los Angeles studying engineering, running a wind tunnel and operating sound equipment. Then I spent five years at Penn State. About a year ago I finished school and moved back to the San Diego area.
I live with my partner, Jamie, who is a nuclear engineer, and we have two cats.
PHILOSOPHY
I love learning. I enjoyed school, and now I do research for a living. Most of my reading is non-fiction, and I like talking things over with people who have different opinions than I do, as long as we are both willing to change our minds...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly hosting, but sometimes in the summer I take long motorcycle trips and like to find someone to stay with.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I enjoy hosting couch surfers because it gives me a chance to meet new, diverse and outgoing people. I also enjoy playing the role of cultural ambassador for international visitors.
