Meeting the world, in Holland and while travelling

ABOUT ME

My biggest passion is travelling and mainly in a way that I need to discover the country myself by getting in touch with locals, finding out public transport myself, travelling according to self-made itineraries, eating typical local dishes and getting to know the habits and if possible language. Travelling in organized groups following a tourguide is absolutely not my cup of tea.
Fortunately travelling in many cases can be combined with my job, in which I take care of sales in aquaculture in Eastern Europe, Southern Europe and Asia.
My mission is meeting the world, in which people are also welcome in our small beautiful country Holland and relaxing Brabant, known for its long nights in cosy bars and for the nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My intention of participating is to be hosted occasionally, but also to welcome people in my apartment, downtown Deurne in the province of Brabant. If time permits it would also be my pleasure to show my region and to give a good impression of the relaxing atmosphere and the Dutch people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had several Couch Surfing Experience. From being hosted by hospitable people in Brazil to being introduced to nightlife in Panama. Also, I participated to Couch Surfing meetings in Curitiba, while I hosted several people (even all the way from Siberia!)

My preferences for movies are comedies, and good thrillers. Also I like to see the Dutch movies.
My taste for music is very broad, from R&B to dance, from Dutch languaged music to Italian music. Music I don't really like is classic, opera and rock.
And my favourite book always is the travel guide of my next destination.

I hope I can experience great and amazing things all the time. One recent experience was my world trip in which besides the backpacking I studied languages in several countries and in which I taught English in Ecuador and Kazakhstan.
