I've lived in three different countries and visited sixty-one. As cheesy as it sounds, I strive to be the best person I could be. My definition of success is somewhat different though. To me, being successful is being in a state of happiness and being content. I'm not there yet, but almost!

After living the vagabond lifestyle for several years, I've finally decided to settle down in Austin, Texas. However, that doesn't mean I'm done with traveling. This year, I'm visiting Mexico with my parents and I'm going to Europe this summer.

Hostels are fun. But it sometimes prevents travelers from hanging out with locals and getting to know the local culture better. I'm looking forward to getting to know new cities through a local's eyes and sharing my own unique mix of Asian-American quirkiness that passes as "culture" to non-Americans.

Interessen

Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'm an avid follower of all things technology. But I also appreciate just kicking back, chatting, and exploring new cities and places using tools without an on button.

I'm also an eager consumer of the printed word. Books that excite me include plots involving the outdoors, travel, and coming of age narratives. Mostly I like fictional works that are easy to read, although I'm not against talking about more serious literary works.
