ABOUT ME

General Information:
Am a 42 years old from Arsos village. I host people to my house witch is built on the top of the hill 2 minutes outside of the village and 5 minutes from the Forrest. In the house i can host 3-6 people. in my free time i go to the forest near Arsos village, collecting mushrooms, Herbs, visiting friends, or stay to the Tea Shop and having good time drinking wine and cooking Cyprus Meze. Same and for my guests as part of our Family.
My love to the nature, prompted me before 20 years to begin the trial cultivation of herbs. In a space opposite of Troodos Mountain, in height 860m. that you surrounded from the bridge of Tzielefos, the river Diarizos, the Arminou Lake, and path E4 that passing in from the forest and connects 5 Venetian bridges. Also I've made new grape growing, where now we produce our biological wines, Commandaria, Zivania, Zivanomelo, Epsima(grape sirup), grape juice, Palouze, Souzouko, and Kiofterka.
Near the village Arsos we created a garden where we produce biological vegetables. Like, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, etc.
1km away the village, you find the one from the residences ware we host friends, workers, and tourists they wish to spend time in the village or work on our organic crops. Apart from the magnificent view that it has from the house, there also existing a garden ware we produce biological vegetables, and few olive trees.
Passed August we start the operation of one small shop in Central Square of village Arsos, ware we promote and sell the products we produce. The Tea Shop Arsos, its a small, shop where the visitor can buy our products, also can join tea, traditional wines, and traditional dishes. Read books about herb properties, history of the village, watch documentarys about Arsos village, Cyprus, about grapes and wine production, and for the history of olive and oil in Cyprus. In Tea Shop Arsos, visitor can spent hours relaxing by listening to Reggae music, and surf the free WI-Fi that community provide for visitors. Tea Shop Arsos also organizes tours in nature trail, church of Apostolos Fylipos, church museum, and folk art Museum of the village. Organizes excursions with minibus, LDV Pilot,or Volkswagen transporter caravan to bio farms, or forest, where there's a theme park, the river Diarizos and the E4 nature trails that exist in the forest. (Picking wild mushrooms and fruits) The life here in village, rolls on slow rhythm, and we enjoys peace and the gifts of nature.
I have many friends in the region around, that we visited them often us they visit as also the afternoons for our daily feast, with music, Traditional Meze, and plenty of biological wine. surfers that will visit us, are part of the family and community of Arsos village.Relaxation, Excursions, Conducted Tours to region around, and of course, Lot Of Fun...
goal is, Teach visitors as much i can about wild Herbs, Nature and the Tradition of my region.
