ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty simple person. I work at a sandwich shop during the day. It's a pretty relaxed place to work and I love it. I want to be a midwife eventually. I prefer to spend time with my family if I have time off. I love being outdoors but I hate the cold so I tend to stay inside during the winter. Maybe someday I'll move somewhere warm so I can enjoy the outdoors all the time. Gardening is a small hobby of mine but it's something I'm new to so I'm still learning. I absolutely love animals but can't have pets at my apartment so I just pet the stray cats that wander around my house! Really, I'm just a relaxed person. Usually down for anything but kinda quiet, not too crazy. I love to have fun though. I don't really like talking about myself so that's why this description kinda sucks.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't surfed yet, might take a couple short trips around the pacific northwest and try it out. For now I've been hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never couch surfed! I've hosted a few times and have plans to host a couple more times in the next few months.

All sorts of that stuff. I'm really open minded.

Lately Netflix has been recommending lots of stuff with the words "cerebral, mind-bending, suspenseful, foreign, dysfunctional-family, understated comedies, goofy, and feel-good" if this means anything to you. Favorite movie is Dirty Pretty Things.

Favorite music lately has been dancey-electro-pop-ish type music. Starfucker, Discovery, The Xx, Yelle, and Ratatat come to mind. I'm also really diggin' some bluegrass-folksy kinda music. The Low Anthem is definitely a current fave. Also been lovin' the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss CD...so good! I get most of my music from the library so it's a wide variety :)

I love to cook and I'm always down for cooking with other people. I can teach you how to make some good vegetarian food too! I want to learn anything you can teach me!!
