About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See, breathe and eat the world.

ABOUT ME

Honest, quiet, intelligent, adventurous, very open-minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surf and I host. I'd like to do some of the meetups but haven't had the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experiencing it.

Interests

I spend a lot of time, and far too much money (ha), on travel. The world is just so big and I feel compelled to uncover as much as I possibly can. If I'm not on a trip I'm planning a trip. In the between times; I work, work, work. When I can squeeze it in I like to bike, run, camp, and catch a movie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't get to see as many movies as I would like these days but Netflix helps. A fan of most films from big budget Hollywood to independent produced and foreign. But, the key is the story. A good story works at almost any budget. No story and not much chance I'll let a film take up my time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find the way Japan holds on to its past while still progressing in to the future to be amazing. To see 500 year old maintained buildings next door to skyscrapers is quite unique.

Watched the sunset over the Baltic Sea around 2:00am followed by the sunrise around 3:00am. Definitely need to find a place with 24 hour sun.

Snuck away, while drunk, in St. Petersburg, Russia at 1:00am to find a something to eat. Didn't know a single word of Russian. Found this total dive greasy spoon and enjoyed some of the best food. No one there spoke English but I had a blast.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I look forward to experience what a host has to offer as much as I would like to share my own past experiences. My boyfriend will sometimes travel work me and he is new to couchsurfing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States
