Finishing my PhD in marine biology!

ABOUT ME

What influences my life the most is the urge to protect animals as much as possible. It starts with breakfast (eating vegan), continues at work (where I try to promote and develop alternative methods to animal experiments) and ends with dinner, I guess. I was this animal-crazy person my entire life (starting to be a vegetarian at 9 years), and being vegan and all that stuff freaks some people out at the beginning and makes them believe I'm a naive tree-hugger. But I take the jokes and comments with patience and laugh along with them.

Generally, I probably seem like a little quiet at first, but I'm actually not. I can laugh about nearly anything and love getting to know new people, talk about their view of the world, exchange travel experiences etc.!

My hobbies are/ were: dancing, drawing, scuba diving, sailing, swimming, climbing, reading, yoga, photography, cooking, piano, guitar, singing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've seen is probably the Macchu Picchu in Peru. It was a truely macical place, hardly any tourists at that point and most of it was hidden by clouds at the beginnig of the day.
