I'm 33, I've lived in 4 different countries (france, switzerland, the UK, the US), I love traveling, learning new things, meeting new people, and fantasizing about traveling/ living in the US again, esp. in New Orleans

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's my first time on a couchsurfing website, but I've kinda couchsurfed my way around europe (crashing with friends) and hosting friends & being their tourist guide in my different appartments

Books : all those related to Louisiana (favorites : the confederacy of dundees, Poppy Z. Brite & James Lee Burke), all those set in the South of the US (favorites : Harper Lee & Tenesee Williams), Spanish- speaking authors (Carlos Ruis Zafon, Jaume Caubré, Gabriel Garcia Marquez), psychology books. I always have a book in my handbag, and when I travel I always bring book(s) and CDs back from the country I visited, not souvenirs or clothes.

Music : all the time (expect at work) !! Big fan of Bob Dylan (obsessed by some of his songs), Rodriguez, Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Aaron Neville & his brothers, Allen Toussaint, all the New Orleans brass bands, Keith Richards, Tom Waits, etc..;

Movies : Music dvds (No direction home& don't look back on Dylan, Sugar Man on Rodriguez, concert DVDs of the Stones, documentaries/ music DVDs on New Orleans, my favorites are on Mardi Gras Indians, Always for pleasure & Burry the hatchet) ; A flew on the cucu's nest, The king's speech, Woody Allen (favorite : Blue Jasmine), Monty Pythons, the Coen brothers, and movies related to music (favorite : Inside Llewyn Davis)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm good in making people open up (= share their story) by spending time with them & listening ; I'm also good in cooking & taking pics

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

cooking/ food, sharing stories/ experiences, showing sights (not the Effeil Tower or the Champs Elysées, please!!!!), walks in lesser touristy neighborhoods...
