I will try to make it short... I am a mexican, 28 years old, born into a multicultural family with german, spanish and italian roots.... Therefore i have developed over time a high interest in all things involving travel and culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well i was told to give it a go and why not? I am always curious and positive about trying different things... The fact i love meeting new people from different countries makes this double interesting for me.

Interests

Aside from travel and languages, i like meeting people from different cultures, love music and have a vast preference for different genres, cinema, art, meditation, healthy living, food, salsa dance/ belly dance, history, fashion, and do enjoy people with a high sense of purpose and a thirst for life lived up to the fullest, without any excesses, that is....

Music, Movies, and Books

Music always depends on the mood i am in, sometimes i feel thoughtful and inspired, so i can listen to some classical masterpieces, i can think of the genius Morricone, for instance, which also reminds me he composed the music for my favourite romance film: Nuovo Cinema Paradiso ;) ... But not just classical, my tastes are pretty vast like i just explained above (reggae, indian, italian, jazz, metal, pop, techno, oldies..) and the same goes for my taste in films.... For books, the best one i have read is quite possibly The Name of the rose by the brilliant Umberto Ecco, and yes, this goes to show i love medieval history too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to live for five consecutive years in United Kingdom... This is where i discovered a lot about who i am and where i want to be in life... It also gave me a sense of reality and made me grow in many aspects of life. You could also say i can speak english with a british, irish or even scottish accent, which can be quite funny considering i am none of those xD

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching is an easy skill for me, i like teaching and it is something that involves what i do, so i am pretty confident teaching spanish, english or even italian. When done well, it can be not just a rewarding experience for the teacher and the student but also a fun process unlike commonly thought to be.
As for learning, a new language or the chance to improve one is always welcome, or even lesrning a new skill such as playing an instrument...
