Hello there!

I'm Claire, a thirtyish girl from Paris, France. I've always loved reading and books and I've been working as a children's books publisher for about ten years. I'm also a complete music-addict and on my spare time, I sing covers of pop-rock-folk songs with a friend of mine who plays the guitar.

Here are a few other things I love because they bring happiness into my life: spending time with my friends, discovering countries and meeting people from various cultures, learning languages, going to the movies, laughing, watching the glitter of the sun on water and hearing the sound of the waves, staring at a starry sky, walking in a beautiful landscape, drinking tea, eating chocolate chip cookies…

I can’t imagine visiting a country without meeting people on the spot and sharing time / discussions with them to know more about their way of life, their language, their culture… And couchsurfing seems the perfect way to bring together locals and travelers. Also, all my friends who’ve tried couchsurfing have strongly recommended it. So, here I am!
