I'm a student in Galway, currently on placement in Sligo for the year, so I know the west coast pretty well at this stage! Galway is an incredible city to be a student in, and while there's not as much to do in the town of Sligo the scenery along the coast is beautiful.
I grew up on a farm, and spent most of my summers working on the farm and horse riding, which was an amazing way to spend a childhood and as a result I love being outdoors, and spend as much time as possible out and about!
I'm in my third year in Uni now, and no longer have time to keep my own horses unfortunately, but get my fill of the outdoors hiking and camping as much as possible. Not having a horse has the perks of having a free summer though, so I spent last summer taking out canoe trips in Algonquin Park in Canada, which was an incredible experience, and this Summer I have the time to travel to South America, and cant wait to meet new people and have some new fantastic adventures!

I'm travelling to South America for the summer and would like to meet some of the locals while I'm there, get to know the culture and the people better!
