About Me
New to couchsurfing :)
I've always wanted to see the world when I was younger, but I wasn't sure how I was going to do it, I just knew I had to. When I lived abroad for four months, it fueled my passion to travel and I have been craving it ever since. There are many things I love about travel, one of them is being someone completely foreign to you; you may or may not speak their language, there will be a culture shock. Good or bad things may happen but it's a whole new different experience you can't get in your home country. Travel gives you the opportunity to connect with people globally over a common topic.
I could possibly write an essay on travel but I would bore you. Apart from my interest in traveling, I'm currently working as a research assistant/lab technician, so I'm basically in charge of the lab. I'm in my last few months of my gap year and I'd potentially start school in August or September (depending on which course I go for).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like learning new things, meeting new people, experiencing new culture,
Interests
I have always been into arts when I was a kid and I always loved drawing. I started writing when I was 12 and haven't really stopped writing since then and in 2013, I bought my first DSLR. I'd always like the idea of capturing a moment and when I was still a kid, I always fiddled around with a digital camera. My interest in traveling and exploring magnified when I had lived in Adelaide for four months, and realize how little of the world I've seen. Traveling gives me an opportunity to connect with people globally and getting to know and experience the culture of a place. That is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music varies from edm to pop to rock. I'm open to any kind of music (the days of being an elitist is long behind me now). I love all kinds of movies except gore and horror. I will read any book with a good plot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived abroad myself for four months when I was 18.
