I love getting away from home and visiting as many places as possible. I believe you can never know too many people and I have friends all over the world from my travels. I've learnt so much through travelling and have gained so much confidence but I know I still have so much more to learn and so many new places to visit and people to meet!

I love spontaneity and adventure but I am also happy with chilling out and having a few drinks or going for coffee. I exercise a lot and eat healthy and love meeting people who share my passion for healthy living. I am also a bit of a foodie. One of my favourite things about travelling is trying out all the best local restaurants and cafes, so it would be awesome to meet people who can show me the local food culture.

When I'm not travelling, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and I study Maths at university. However, I am originally from Northern Ireland and that will always be where I call home!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently on a year out from my studies to travel and work in Australia. I have been based in the Gold Coast for the last two months but I am now about to embark on my first adventure to NZ! I have spent the last summer in Europe, solo travelling around Germany, Austria, Croatia and a few other places and had an amazing time on my first trip alone. However, after staying in hostels and meeting the same people over and over again, I'm now really keen to expand my travelling experiences and try couchsurfing more. I left a few places feeling like I never experienced the true life of the country because I didn't always meet many locals so I don't want to make the same mistakes again.

Interests

I go to the gym daily and I absolutely love it! I love the feeling after my workouts, it gives me so much confidence and positivity. It would be awesome to meet others who would come workout with me!

I like being outdoors and going for long walks and exploring new parks, beaches and mountains. I'm also into art and photography so I always make sure to take my camera on my adventures.

I socialise a lot with friends, however I don't enjoy clubs. I love going to bars, chatting and making new friends and love a good BBQ!

I love trying new things, I'm up for absolutely anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very much into music. I listen to anything from folk to dance music. However most of the stuff I listen to is very mellow and relaxed, just like my personality! Unless I'm at the gym of course and need some motivation!

One good book I read recently was called The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. It was seriously awesome and gave me an even greater sense of adventure!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer great chat and great friendship! I love talking to like minded people who share the same ideas and passions. But I also love listening to others ideas about life and challenging my perceptions about everything.

I can be there for anyone that is looking for someone to do something their friends don't want to do, as I'm up for everything!

I can cook for hosts and I'm clean and tidy.
