Overview
About Me
Hello!! My name is Claire and I am an American college student studying abroad in Dublin for the semester. I am majoring in Anthropology with minors in Environmental Studies and Computer Science. I love to meet and learn about people and different cultures - hence my choice in major! During my time abroad I want to make friends from all over the world and learn how people live in different places.
Some fun facts about me-I LOVE animals, especially monkeys. I work at a Zoo in Chicago during my summers off as a camp counselor for ZooCamp, where I take kids around the zoo and teach them about animals and conservation. I also love nature and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, fishing, and sailing. One of my favorite hobbies is photography - specifically nature and wildlife photography.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am brand new at CouchSurfing but I think this is the best way to meet people from all over the world and learn about different cities from a local perspective. I am doing a bit of solo travels while I am abroad and I was advised to CouchSurf by many of my well-traveled friends who say this is one of the best ways to experience places while traveling solo. I am looking forward to making new lifelong friends from around the globe!!
