I've just finished my degree in Aix en Provence and will be spending the next month traveling trough Europe! I studied anthropology with focuses in French and studio art. I work at an art museum in Lincoln under the assistant curator of exhibitions and I play in two local bands in Omaha.

I love engaging with people from all walks of life, new cultures, languages, places, and conversations. Although I do like a bit of alone time to socially recharge and reflect, I really enjoy other people's company. I would love to share a meal, drink, or go out and explore the city with my host. However, I am very independent so I have no problem going out and discovering things to do on my own if need be.

Some of my major hobbies and interests are playing music (I'm a musician and like going to live shows), reading/writing, painting, film, hiking, and cooking.

*I find animals to be one of the true treasures in this world so if you have some furry roommates I am absolutely okay with that.

I have spent the past four years studying culture and I think that couchsurfing provides a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse of authentic culture in a particular region! I am new to the site but already admire the comaraderie and kindness of the people here.
