Overview
About Me
I'm a friendly, interested and open person, once you get me talking about something it's hard for me to shut up!
I love exploring ideas and practices that are different from my own, I'm curious. I travel because there's always something new to discover!
I believe learning the language, living in a place and fully immersing yourself in it's culture is the best way to travel! Which is why I went to Japan for a month and decided I'd spend a year studying there next year!
I have a passion for languages, but I struggle with them, I'll always try and speak the language of the country I'm visiting (but some help would be great!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way to experience a place is to talk to the locals.
I'm new to couchsurfing, but I'm already so excited to stay with someone, share experiences and stories, and find out their favourite places in the area!
I love connecting with people from different places, I love understanding and discovering something new about a place or culture.

-My favourite movies are guardians of the galaxy and the hobbit.
-Books books books! So difficult to choose one! Wierdly I like reading travel guides to places I've never been, but my favourite book to read is Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed mount Fuji in Japan wearing deck shoes and a hoody (would not recommend, SO COLD) and drank sake at the summit watching the sunrise!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got my TEFL qualification, so will teach some English if you're interested! I'm really interested in cooking, so swapping traditional recipes/cooking techniques will be great!
I know some Japanese and German, if you're interested in those I can help.
Will always share a funny story or experience!
