Overview
About Me
24 year old student l on a trip to the US for a bit of study and travel! Travelling; San Fransisco-Yosemite-LA-DC-NYC-Boston! I feel having local knowledge as well as new friends in these places will be particularly good!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love experiencing real local culture when I'm travelling, and so meeting local people and getting an idea of what it's like to live in that city is really important! I can be a little shy, and hesitant to meet new people so Couch surfing helps me push those boundaries and meet amazing people; which in my opinion, is the best part of travel!

Music, Movies, and Books
- There's an awesome Australian Indie music scene, so I like a little bit of that. I grew up as a classical musician, so my tastes have developed across all genres; with me really liking a little bit of everything!
- I am a huge reader; I always have a couple of books on the go- my favourite would possibly be The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde, or Lord of the Rings, or the Song of Ice and Fire series. It's too hard to pick one!
- I also love a good movie; while I enjoy the cliche chick flick rom com; i love movies like Jason Bourne with a good bit of action. However anything with Geoffrey Rush will always have my tick of approval; such a genius!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the best moment of my life was husky sledding under the Northern Lights in Norway!
Other then that, I think leaving Aus to come and live in Spain counts as pretty amazing; I'm learning Spanish pretty much as I go and its not been easy! Other than that; I've snorkelled in the Great Barrier Reef and paraglided in the WhitSundays.
Teach, Learn, Share
- Even though this is cliche; I think travel is the only thing that makes you poorer but you walk away richer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Australian culture and humour! Which is too little known on the international scene!
- I'm not a huge partier but I love a good conversation and am always up for exploring!
