About Me

After three exciting years in New York, I am leaving the big city in pursuit of the alluring unfamiliar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I are spreading our wings and embarking on a round-the-world adventure. Hoping to keep the warm sun in our sky, we're starting in South America and following the summer around the globe. As excited as I am to see new landscapes, I am even more excited to meet and share experiences with new people!

Interests

I am interested in most everything, but some of my favorites are: laughing with friends and family, eating breakfast in the sun, hiking in beautiful places, attending film festivals, listening to stories, and asking questions.

Music, Movies, and Books

For the past three years I've worked in independent American film and I have discovered a couple gems: Beasts of the Southern Wild, i Origins, Boyhood, The Imposter (documentary), Whiplash. Other great films are Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, Fight Club, City of God, Howl's Moving Castle, and La vita è bella.

My music tastes are kind of all over the place. I like Lykke Li, Ziggy Marley, The Roots, Asa, Bueno Vista Social Club, Cake, Eminem, Gnarls Barkley, Britney Spears, Cut Chemist, Oh Land, Nappy Roots, C2C, Selah Sue, Yann Tiersen, Moby.. And I want to learn about other music too!

And I don't read enough :/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accompanied by my most wonderful cousins, I climbed to the top of the tallest dune in Europe, la Dune du Pilat, laid out some cardboard and a sleeping bag , and slept 100 meters closer to the stars.
