Hi, I'm Claire!

I am currently a student at Stanford University in California, and am always dreaming about where to travel next!

Some of my biggest passions besides dreaming about traveling are health and music (fun fact: I once got to perform with rapper Wiz Khalifa -- and made it onto national television with my rnb/soul a cappella group!) :)

I grew up in Seoul, Korea in the earlier half of my life and love to stay in touch with my culture by immersing myself in Korean literature -- I've always loved creative writing, especially poetry, and I'm always excited to meet other writers and passionate readers and get to know what writers/books they are into!

I also really really love dogs! I have a corgi named Bowie, and he is my best friend :) it's hard to leave him behind when I'm in school or traveling :( (that's why I have a tattoo of him and my family haha :))

I can't wait to meet discover the world alongside those with whom I get to share my journeys through this community :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling to a new place has always allowed me to think more carefully about where I come from, what I want to do going forward, and the people that I cherish in my life. It's truly a gift that I get to see and share this beautiful world with others, and I can't wait to make new friends through Couchsurfing in my adventures around the world! :)
