About Me
Hi there!
I'm Claire, I live in a village called Biesmerée (about 30km from Namur) with my boyfriend.
I grew up in the south of France but after completing my bachelor's degree, I moved to many places until I set up here, in this little paradise. I am very keen on living abroad, volunteering and getting to know local people when I'm travelling.
If you wanna discover something different than cities and explore the belgian countryside, that's the place to be. We live in a big caravan and there's enough space to put up a tent or sleep inside if it's too cold outside ;)
There's a lot to see, to do and to share !

Music, Movies, and Books
I read essays and novels of many kind. Among my favourite authors are Emile Zola, Albert Camus, Edward Abbey, Nancy Huston and some others... !
I'm mostly listening to rock music but I also like jazz, funk, blues, punk, soul... Well, pretty much every kind of music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2013, I moved from Perpignan (south of France) to Finland to do my Erasmus there. So from the heat and sun to the deep darkness :p
In 2015, I moved to Spain and started to give private language lessons while I was learning Spanish myself.
On summer 2017, I hitchhiked through the Balkans for a month.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some French, English or Spanish. I'd be interested myself in learning other languages (or at least some basics). Robin, my boyfriend, doesn't speak any foreign language (except old Walloon ;)). He's really skillful with his hands so he could teach you some stuff related to construction, bike repairing, wood chopping etc. You can also give a hand in the garden if you like :)
We're very keen on learning new skills, sharing any kind of knowledge, discovering dishes :)
