Overview
About Me
Hello! I work for a non-profit, contemporary art Museum in Southern California; however, I am currently travelling Europe as I make my way back to the UK (where I used to live). I am a photographer, bookmaker, writer, traveller, crossword-doer and food appreciator.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whenever I travel, my goal is to integrate and learn as much about a place as possible. Most often, this is through conversations with the people who know it best, locals. My own experiences couchsurfing have been wonderful - I have connected with such generous, kind and interesting people. It makes staying somewhere, even if for a couple days, feel like home.
Interests
I suppose I have always identified myself as an artist whose practice combines photography and artist books. Books and art have always been large interests - my undergraduate degree is in publishing and my day to day is in arts education and graphic design for a contemporary art museum. Outside of art, I love to be outside: hiking, walking, camping, etc. As much as I love to be immersed in a city, I love to get away and disconnect in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourites in these categories tend to vary - currently listening to anything funk/soul, not watching much tv, and the last books I read were by Joan Didion.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two recent things: I published a book to accompany my first solo photographic exhibition - both of which have been goals of mine for quite some time; secondly, this summer I went on a two and half week road trip in a van across British Columbia with nothing but a backpack and a roadmap.
