Overview
About Me
I left home in 2015 and cycled from Leeds, UK to Pakistan. On route I took 2 years to experience China, where I worked as an English teacher in Kunming, Yunnan Province. I am off the bike at the moment reconnecting to friends and family in the UK and getting some long needed jobs done.
Before leaving the UK I had just completed a social work degree and I tried to continue this work as I traveled, through voluntary work. While back in the UK I am working to update my qualification so I can practice.
I am easy going and I enjoy to socialise with my guests when I have time. Currently life is very busy so although I can offer somewhere to sleep and advice about the local area, I don't have much time for socialising. Also, I am hosting a Ukrainian family at the moment so the house is a bit full and busy. We are a non smoking household and I am vegan - my houseguests aren't so I'm happy for others to eat whatever their diet is.
I look forward to meeting new CS friends and sharing our love of travel.
Best wishes, Claire.

Teach, Learn, Share
I taught art to children in Uganda, not sure how good I was though! I could teach you how to rıde a bıke, or speak English.
