Overview
About Me
I just want to learn and grow and I believe that the best way to do this is through travel, exploring, and meeting people along the way. I like travelling alone, with friends, or with my fiancé and have had a wonderful time each way. I'm pretty easy going and I like to share cultures. Museums and mountains are my happy places and I recently got into surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is the most organic way to get to learn about a place and its people. Hotels are too isolating and hostels are not a great place to meet locals. I am keen to make new friends as some of the best strangers that I have met have been on the road. Isn't that what travelling is all about, sharing new experiences?
I'm also hoping to widen my knowledge of the world by opening my mind to new people and cultures.
Interests
I am a very creative person and I'm working on some kind of project, I have a keen interest in cooking and I am always looking for new (around the globe) recipes. I have been vegetarian for 6 years and which has made me a lot more adventurous with my cooking. I do jiu-jitsu and have competed a few times, I also do yoga and I'm a qualified yoga teacher. My biggest love in this life is languages - I loved languages so much that I studied Spanish and Portuguese at university and I am looking to travel everywhere that it's reasonably possible to travel to.
