ABOUT ME

I'm a person with an ordinary job that looks for extraordinary experiences. I grew up in a typical Midwestern fashion and I'm trying to re-educate myself by traveling the world! I love meeting new people and learning new languages.

I just got back to the states after teaching a year of ESL in China. Working with both kids and adults there was such a fantastic experience. In the future, I want to continue to see the world this way.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to experience. I want my life to be full of amazing things, food, sights, smells, people, and places. I'm on the precipice of something amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm not using couch surfing as much as I like, but I've only heard good things from friends and I actually feel like I should have signed up for this earlier and utilized it more.

I feel that it is valuable to learn a few phrases in the native language of where ever you are traveling to. Something as simple as knowing 'hello' and 'thank you' can show people you encounter that you are open and take interest in their culture.
