ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old life lover from the UK. I've been travelling around India, SE Asia and Australia for the last 2.5 years. I left England in nov 2012 and will be returning end of march 2015. Although 2.5 years doesn't sound that long I feel I have lived so many different lives between then and now. I know its a little cliché but I genuinely feel I have learnt a lot about my self and feel much stronger and happier with in myself.

I cant wait to get back to the UK to see well missed friends and family but at the same time I feel absolutely terrified. I suppose there similar feelings to when I left to go travelling in the first place, he he.

I love life and being active (sitting still is not something I can do well!). I love to go for walks whether its in the woods or just wander around the city, market, carboot etc. I love green things, mountains, trees, grass etc.

I love trying new things, I wouldn't descibe myself as an adrenaline junkie but I have dabbled with sky diving and bungee jumping. I learn't to dive on my travels and am always eager to get back in the water.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, making new friends, listening to other peoples views, opinions and experiences.

I used couch surfing a lot when I first got to Aus and successfully found jobs, homes and life long friends through couch surfing.

I'm looking forward to being a little more settled for a while and being able to offer my home and experiences with other couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stand up comedy, I love it!! I really enjoy going to see comedians live. I usually like to take my Dad or my siblings as I know they enjoy it as much as me.

Anything funny makes me happy.

I like cartoons at bedtime, particularly American Dad or Family Guy.

I like a lot of music, most people do...Indie, DnB, Techno, Dance, Reggae, Electronic etc but I have noticed over the years that I have a particularly strong likening to house music! I just cant get enough of it, It really makes me happy, much to the annoyance of most of my friends he he.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in the Andaman Islands, and theGili Islands, swimming with sharks, giant turtles, cuttle fish, stingrays etc etc etc. Sky diving twice (would like to do more but its and expensive hobby! Bungee jump ( I wont be doing that again!)Travelling generally, particularly Vietnam. Watching my brother be born.
