I am a friendly, curious and fun person. I love to travel, meet new people and have new experiences. I am a journalist who has done work projects with the UN ILO, interested in politics and international relations, and have traveled a lot but still have places I want to experience! I love going out and having a good time, going to museums, restaurants, shops, meeting new people and having good conversations. I've lived and worked in a lot of different countries (Nicaragua, France, Indonesia, Cambodia) and traveled in 55 total and I love to see how other people live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is genius. It's a great way to make new friends and to have the genuine local perspective of a new place :) It's way better than just staying in a hostel. Whether I have spent a lot of time with other surfers or only spent a bit of time with them, I have made great friends and had wonderful unique experiences!

When I'm visiting a place, normally I like to see all the 'must-sees'...I'm pretty organized and look up travel tips beforehand. But I'm always open to spontaneity and chill time too because that's the baller way to travel

I've been literally all over the place for work and studies since I joined CS a few years ago so it's been hard to host (my family has hosted for me when I haven't been home! haha) but I plan to change that once I'm more settled this year

Interests

I love to write and talk to people. I love going to museums, learning about history, eating different cuisines. The outdoors are great- hiking, swimming, running. Also love the arts- dance, painting, theater, etc.
