Adventurous, always travelling, loves kids and teaching, loves sport and being outdoors, loves to have a laugh and a drink, but even though I am an Aussie - I HATE Beer!!

Interests

I love history, especially the ancients. I love sport especially any type of football and I love getting outside on a sunny day! I am a teacher and I am happiest seeing kids learning something new and I like to try and make kids excited about history. Books and movies that tell a great story are a great way to relax, but I like nothing more than enjoying a good dinner and some drinks with family and friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite experiences was a sunrise balloon flight over Luxor in Egypt. There is nothing more awe-inspiring than flying high over a waking city and looking down on 3000 year old monuments. My second highlight in my life was exploring the white desert, also in Egypt. This strange landscape was oddly peaceful but then I came across Badr's art museum and I was inspired by his love of transforming nature into beautiful works of art. His statues are full of life and his paintings beautifully captured everything I love about the Egyptian desert.
