About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To eat, run, boogie, sip and sing my way around the world
ABOUT ME
I enjoy long walks on the beach... well to be honest I probably prefer a long run on it...
I've been travelling since May 2010. I worked for a couple of months in Cambodia, then traipsed around some other South East Asian countries for a couple of months. I flew to London with no real plans, and with London dreariness getting me a little down, somehow ended myself up in rural France, working as an au pair (and having a lovely time drinking wine in sunny fields and playing my guitar.)
Am now country-hopping across Europe for a little while before heading back to the UK to hopefully work as a physiotherapist (or become a hugely successful West End star... either one.)
I'm easygoing, friendly, a little disorganised in the head at times but enthusiastic about life and doing lots with it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing whenever I can at the moment, and with each new experience feeling more excited about hosting when I'm finally settled somewhere in the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have LOVED Couch Surfing through Europe- I feel like my experiences of cities has been about 476% better than if I had stayed in a hostel/hotel with a million other travellers. I feel so lucky to have made friends with wonderful hosts, even just over a few days. I really enjoy the exchanging of information, stories, knowledge and culinary delights!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Laos on a scooter... Having a bit of a life/death moment off the coast of a little island in Thailand... Trekking for a day and watching wildlife as the sunset from a treetop in Malaysia... Cycling in the UK and Europe...
Teach, Learn, Share
* I know a few excellent travel-happy card and dice games.
* I can strap a sprained ankle pretty well.
* I know enough chords to crank out a few (badly played) tunes on my little guitar that's travelling with me.
* I'd like to be able to play the guitar better!
* My French could do with as much practice as possible (seems to be better after a beer or two..?)
* My knowledge of current world events and/or quantum physics could probably be improved by about 100%
