About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Improve and discover myself meeting other people

ABOUT ME

I am a dynamic 24 years old girl who is always active. Indeed, I am always involved in a lot of projects: politics, environment and theatre.
I have quite a strong personality as I am straightforward and spontaneous, I always try to be the most honest person as possible. People usually like me for this reason: they know I will always tell them what I think (if they ask me to) and I will always respect my word.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am -almost- new on couchsurfing but I really want to be a part of it in hosting and surfing. I feel like this is a wonderful project which helps people to discover other way of living and thinking, and to make new friends around the world.

Interests

I have been politically involved since I was 16 and as I feel very concerned by environmental issues, I have been a member of Greenpeace for 4 years now.
After living one year in India, I decided I wanted to specialize in Development studies and maybe go back to live there.

I have a passion for drama, I have been playing in a theatre troup for 12 years now. I always love to go and watch Theatre play in my town or many summers in the Festival d'Avignon.

I also like to travel and to learn foreign languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is "The hours", it has really been a turning point in my life as it questions about the sense of existence and where we are going.
I also like movies which aim at denouncing the back side of our societies and of the world: Blood Diamond, Maria full of Grace, the Constant Gardener,...

I really like to read novels and one of my favorite author is Dickens and his book "The great expectations".

I also like to read philosophical essays and my favorite thinker is Sartre as he demonstrated how we are what we decide to be in acting.

I mostly listen to French music. But I also like singers like Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, and Bollywood music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I have moved alone in Hong Kong to work
- Hike in the ifugao country, Philippines
-I have lived one year on a campus in India in 12m2 with a roomate.
-Played theatre during a street festival.
-I drove a car in the moutains of the Golden Triangle in Thailand along the Burmese border.
-I traveled on the roof of a bus in Nepal during 6 hours as the whole country was on strike.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people who are passionated about things. I do not like when people are jaded.
