ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Claire. I'm 27, and have just moved home after living in London for two years. I miss it already. I would love people to remind me how wonderful Melbourne/Victoria is and would gladly meet up with you for a drink or a coffee. I am not the most normal person you will ever meet. I have moments of sillyness, am prone to the giggles, have severe blonde moments though I am whole heartedly a brunette, I don't take offense easily, I'm honest, I say inappropriate things, usually as a result of not thinking before I speak. I don't suffer fools gladly and will tell them so. I type frantically and therefore have many typos but am normally very good at grammar and the like. I love dorky dancing, the poetry in song lyrics and getting hopelessly lost and accidently finding an amazing part of the city you never meant to see, I love conversations that are about the little things in life. I love in jokes, out jokes, bad jokes. I love playing rough with the boys and I love those moments with friends when you break over the polite border and start really sharing yourself with them. I love talking to people who have interesting things to say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have surfed a little but was pretty disorganised and usually ended up in hostels. I hosted once and have met people for coffee etc but want to do more. One day. When I know what I'm doing in life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled for a year or so occasionally trying to couch surf with a varying success rate. I intend, once I get myself sorted and am in one place for a definite period of time, to host or at least meet people and play tourist with them.

I love reading. My list of books to read is about a thousand pages long. I have no muscial talent to speak of but love listening to it and always enjoy a good gig. Sometimes I even enjoy the bad ones. I enjoy movies from time to time, especially european ones. But I prefer to read the book before I see the movie.

I think travelling in general is an amazing thing to do, because being somewhere that isn't your home is an amazing thing to see. Sometimes it can be lonely or scary but it is what you make it.
nb: I need to have more adventures and put something kickass in this box. just wait. it will be so amazing you won't even believe it.
