About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel and experience as much as possible!
ABOUT ME
My name is Claire. I'm twenty-four and originally from Austin, TX. I currently live in Boston, MA, where I work as a Marketing Events Coordinator.
It's so strange to talk about myself on the internet...I think/hope that my family and friends would describe me as friendly and outgoing. I love new people and new situations and I'm very adventurous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started couchsurfing when I was studying abroad at Queen Mary University of London. I met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences! Because of my job (I travel extensively), I'm typically unable to host, though I have hosted old couchsurfing friends in the past :)
Interests
I love to travel! So far, I've been to several countries in Central America and Europe, plus a few in South America and Africa. I plan to travel as much as I can while I'm in Europe for the next five months.
I'm also a writer...I work for a website called NaturallyCurly.com, which is catered to women with curly hair. In my free time, I do a lot of creative writing. Currently, two of my pieces are awaiting publication.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Book: The God of Small Things, Arundhati Roy. I'm an avid reader and my list of favorite books is VERY long, but this is definitely one of the most incredible novels that I've read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Victoria Falls was absolutely stunning. I want to go back someday and bungee jump off the bridge.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and test new recipes on friends!
