ABOUT ME

Growing up just outside of Melbourne, I've spent the last 2 1/2 years living in London which I sorely miss! I love to travel and had some great times touring through the UK and Ireland. I do theatre/music theatre and cabaret and have a great love of all kinds of music. I've been a vegetarian for many years and love making vegetarian feasts to share. I'm also a huge fan of baking and my chocolate pavlovas and scones have a few fans around the place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed for about 7 weeks through Europe in 2010. I've since met up with a few surfers in Melbourne, but unfortunately haven't been able to host as yet due to living situations! I loved sharing some music, delicious food and unexpected adventures with my hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Croatia, France and England, meeting some amazing people who I surfed with, and some who I explored with when I already had places to stay. Wouldn't have missed it for the world!

Music: Regina Spektor, Kate Miller-Heidke, David Bridie, The Hot Sprockets, Ben Folds, also love a bit of Irish Trad, Cumbia...
Movies: I have a terrible film knowledge! I loved Strictly Ballroom, Amelie, Lord of the Rings, Midnight in Paris, Silver Linings Playbook, Gattaca, The Wizard of Oz, Cabaret... Love a bit of X Men as well, to be honest.
Books: I love reading, bit of a Tolstoy fan, Thomas Hardy, Tolkien, Isobel Carmody, Murakami, Isabelle Allende, anything with a good story, I'm there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a plane after flying over Fox Glacier in New Zealand, Busking and scooting around Rab in Croatia, playing the Grand Piano on a stage in an empty Slovenian hotel concert hall, playing thumb piano on a bus with a zimbabwean between Derby and London, touring a play around Ireland, Edinburgh Fringe!
