I currently live and work in Lebanon. Travelling is part of my work and interests and I think couchsurfing is a good way to do it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Israel and Palestine in 2012 ; I hosted people in Laos, where I lived for 2 years , and hosting people now in Beirut.
Interests
Learning arabic, discovering untouristic places, meeting new people, trekking, talking politics, feeling useful.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket, Mustang, Oslo 31st August, A Prophet, Leningrad Cowboys, Les Beaux Gosses.
Books: Gérard de Villiers' SAS, Shalom Auslander, Riad Sattouf.
Music: French rap, low fi, dancing in caves on loud songs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eating whorms in the Lao mountains and dog meat soup at Pyongyang Restaurant.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cannot spend too much time with hosts because I work. However, I am happy going for drinks, playing chess and backgammon.
