Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like Couchsurfing because when I go to a new country, I don't want to see all the same things that normal tourists see...I want to make friends with the locals, learn a few things in their language, go to their bars with them, hear their music and really see what life in other countries is about!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dancing with fire in Hollywood, drinking Turkish tea by the Bosphorus between Europe and Asia in Istanbul, giving a presentation on the economics of climate change to university presidents in Iceland, paddle boarding in Greece, sailing around the Arctic Circle, hiking the Andes in Colombia, taking a fresh baguette on a tour of Paris, lots of amazing things lately!
