I just spent a year in Houston, TX as a member of the Volunteer Service Corps. There, I taught ninth grade students in college readiness, math lab, and health. I did college counseling with college-bound seniors, tutored in our writing lab, coordinated field trips and retreats, moderated photography club, and served in the library resource center. I love English and writing, and I am eager to learn from others. I do play the spoons, as mentioned, and love the chance to share this fun hobby!
