I live in a small town right outside Asheville, NC. I love being in the mountains and seeing them lit up with light or wrapped in mist. I work in the city as a floral designer and help organize music events, pop up shops and classes in our retail location/coffee shop. It's been a lot of fun to welcome folks into the space to create and share inspiration.

Couchsurfing has been an amazing way to meet new friends and experience places through their eyes and stories. I originally got on couchsurcing four years ago when I was traveling the country on a DIY music tour with my folk duo. Now I'm taking another long ramble around the country with an old traveling friend. I would love to continue to make new friends, we might need a few places to stay as well ☺

I don't really think I have favorites. Except that Ray Bradbury is most definitely my favorite writer. Martian Chronicles, Illustrated Man and Fahrenheit 451 are all great.

Musically I appreciate songs that tell stories and evoke memory but I can be persuaded to listen to almost anything!
