Born and raise in Boulder, Colorado. College in Switzerland, then bounced around to NYC, Boulder, Chicago, Central Illinois... I move a lot. I'm in the midst of getting a Master's in Social Work and headed into my PhD in the fall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I don't want to see the touristy side of a city, I want to see the real place. What better way than by spending time with someone who lives there?

Interests

Trains, walking, getting lost in cities, travel, food, writing, reading, painting, the environment, animals, honestly, I can find a way to be interested in almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was five, my kindergarten teacher brought whale blubber to class for us all to try because we were studying the Arctic. It was like eating butter flavored rubber.
