I'm a freelance writer living in Melbourne, Australia.

I spent 10 years living out of a backpack and working a series of morally questionable jobs around the world, like luring the Amish onto American reality TV and looking after ageing English aristocrats.

During that time, I used to travel mostly through couchsurfing and met amazing people around the world, some of whom I'm still in touch with and have hosted. (Sadly my old profile disappeared and I've lost my references.)

I now work remotely and can take my work with me when I travel so I try to leave the country as often as I can...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always said I would pay it forward some day when I finally had a home, and now is my chance.
