ABOUT ME

Where to start? My hometown is the lovely hippie town of Manitou Springs, Colorado, USA. However, I currently attend Western Washington University, in Bellingham, Washington. I am studying Political Science and Women Studies. I enjoy dancing salsa and blues, playing tennis, and being outdoors. I am very kind and happy and outgoing, and will always look on the bright side of things.

Interests

I love traveling and meeting new people to have great conversations with! I love spending time outdoors, especially if it is near water and/or mountains. I really enjoy talking about politics and feminism.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost any kind of music, but am particularly drawn to indie singer-songwriter type stuff. My favorite books include the Harry Potter series, 13 reasons why, the reason I jump, among many others. There are far too many excellent movies out there for me to pick any favorites, nevertheless, some of them include Little Miss Sunshine, Gone With the Wind, Frances Ha, and Love and Other Disasters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done in my lifetime is sail on a 152 ft. schooner among the Catalina Islands in California. A group of 23 students lived on the boat for a week and eventually learned to sail it all by themselves. During this trip I snorkeled with wild sea lions, kissed a sea cucumber (7 years good luck!), and unfurled a sail 50 ft up the mast. It was an experience that I will never forget.
