Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't host but I love giving tours of Detroit! My tour is a whirlwind blend of architectural history, spatial inequality, neighborhood business districts, and personal stories. I would love to show you around (with advance notice because I work really far away) or give you architecture recommendations for seeing the city. I'm also glad to meet up for coffee and talk Detroit and planning.

Lately, I've been listening nonstop to The Arcade Fire and to awesome Michigan dance pop band (check em out) Stepdad.

Ta-Nehisi Coates's Between the World and Me is my favorite thing I've read in a very long time.
