About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To never be too comfortable that I find myself behind a white picket fence& to hopefully experience new ways of living through new CS friends
ABOUT ME
this empty box is staring at me... it is like when I paint and I start out with a blank canvas. It just stares at me for a long while. Oddly if the canvas is grey or any other solid colour it is much easier for me to start... at this point the box is less white but still. I will have to wait for artistic inspiration to finish this.
PHILOSOPHY
I was put here for a very specific reason, to serve and love people in every circumstance. I desire to do this in whatever odd random way I am called to. I know it will be odd and random because I don't do well with boring and my life has never followed a... erm normal path. I am excited about this unknown adventure though! My deepest desire is to be in the places where people don't have anyone to love them. Where friends may be scarce or family non-existent. While I love learning& being logical, Im really gooey on the inside so I am excited to love people who have very little goo in their lives already.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been able to meet a few people on their way through thanks to my roommate being WAY more on the ball at getting her CS profile up. I have not been able to offer a couch yet as I am surfing currently ;) i am excited to do more things with the local kids too!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hmm less than I desire to that is for sure! I was on tour with a band for a while as sound tech and I got to stay in some pretty amazing homes throughout the US. Not amazing due to the furnishings but due to the inhabitants. A stay in a home vs a hotel is always best!
Interests
singing, maps, dancing, listening to stories of the WWII generation, theatre, music, art history, sculpture, rocks...seriously, travel, painting, cellos& saxes, stars, books, trees...i like trees a lot esp. the grumpy ones. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I suppose I technically "did this", although it was unbeknownst to my conscious brain. I (knowingly) killed my thyroid with radioactive iodine because I had Graves disease and it was killing me. So I just had to be on pills the rest of my life. However... *the amazing part is now...* My thyroid, after being totally gone&dead regenerated itself and is now healthy. So I am a mutant.
