Overview
About Me
Hi everyone! My name's Claire-Marie, and I'm a new transplant to Virginia from the Metro Detroit area. I love learning about different languages and cultures, so I hope to meet some wonderful people through Couchsurfing! I'm interested in cooking, cinema, good wine, fun or philosophical conversations, and literature. I'm quite optimistic and love learning and seeing new things. I also like photography, but unfortunately I don't have a professional camera, so I guess you could call me a cell phone photographer :)
I'm looking to travel all around the world, so let's see where I go next.
As for those I host, please describe what you want to discover and share by staying with me! I’m happy to help in any way I am able.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a book that changes from page to page, day to day. The people we meet add pages to our book, the beauty that surrounds us adds the colour, and the love we share binds it all together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel like this is the greatest way to meet new people and understand the world around us.
Interests
Cooking (I'm a foodie!), coffee, wine, beer, good cinema, photography, calligraphy, history, philosophy, languages, fashion, poetry, art, books, sunsets, stargazing, and having fun :)
