ABOUT ME

I'm an open-hearted and free spirited person who thrives on being carried by the unknowns and mysteries of life. I love people! I love their stories, their subtleties, and the courageous and beautiful moments that arise from day to day. I enjoy sharing a chat, a giggle, a hug, some delicious food, a walk in the park/around town/up a mountain/in the woods. I am creative and really enjoy listening to and making music. I think creativity extends to all aspects of living, so I can generally find artistic inspiration in many situations. I'm very easy going and can get along with lots of different kinds of people.

PHILOSOPHY

One of the most important things for me is living in the present moment. I try to be an open, caring, and giving person and roll with life as it unfolds. Challenges are always good as they can push you further then you thought possible, and I'm realizing that limits are only as restrictive as you let them be. I deeply value my friends and family, they are amazing gifts...remember to always give them the love they deserve. Play and creativity are wise ways of being that I enjoy beyond words.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed a few times a long my travels... I've had some interesting experiences (stories for around the dinner table or fire!), but in general have been very welcomed and cozy!

My favorite movie since I was 10 is the Sound of Music however this is more of a nostalgic thing, I also really like The Shawshankredemption and The Contstant Gardener. Im all over the place with music: ballady folk songs, traditional music of many varieties, old skool hip hop, jazz, protest, blues, DIY stuff, indy, world...
