Hiya, how's it going?

I have enjoyed working as a bookseller, ESL teacher, community development worker and I currently tutor English online, I live in Durham after studying an MA in Applied Linguistics and I am now looking to move to London to find work.

I am very flexible and am used to sharing residential space with others, having lived in shared university halls, volunteer host homes, faculty housing with other teachers and also in summer language schools in Oxford, Brighton, London and Somerset.

I really enjoy meeting people from other places and cultures, I got into couch surfing through volunteering for two years with CSV (Community Service Volunteers) in Scotland and a global exchange program with VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) on various community development projects and really enjoyed staying with such interesting, caring people around the world.

I featured in a magazine advert for a computer game (Noddy the cartoon lol) as a cheeky kid with missing front teeth and a bowl haircut.

I am a trained IELTS examiner and I do proofreading and exam marking for Cambridge ESOL Exams so I don't mind helping out with any English skills :)
