I'm smiley, curious, and will probably crack bad jokes. I'm an artist, and I also teach history. I grew up in the countryside in the UK (Exmoor National Park - visit if you get the chance, it is beautiful) and then lived in London for 4 years. Now I live in Mexico City most of the year.

I'm into art,history, nature, music (especially folk and alternative), and social/political goings-on. Trying new things. I love cycling round London, and meeting new people. Social justice and social action. Tending my garden. Going camping. Adventures are generally welcome.

Recent great book was Romantic Outlaws by Charlotte Gordon. Favourite fiction is probably One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. But for travelling I have Terry Pratchett to keep me entertained.
