ABOUT ME

Hi, we're Juan and Claire, coming from Lille, France. We're both world travellers who have settled down a few years in Lille in order to work. Juan works with musicians and organises the tours, I'm a social worker, specialised in childhood protection. We're passionate, enthusiastic and curious.

To think and try to live as far as posible from consuming society.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, we cannot propose our couch to travellers because we're ourselves going on a long trip. We're planning to welcome them when we'll be settled down in a country or an other.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Juan has hosted irish, australian, and italian people with his roommates when he was in Lyon.
In Brazil, you slept in Sao Luis and Salvador de Bahia.

Interests

Juan is also a flamenco musician, he sings and plays the guitar.He's fond of world music. I draw and paint a little bit, going to classes to improve my skills...We love nice food and to cook it as well. We travel a lot, loving to encounter different cultures and to merge into it. We like to work in organic farm and to learn about permaculture.

Music, Movies, and Books

For Juan : Books (Travelling, anthropology and philosophy), movies (Tony Gatliy, Emir Kusturica...) and Musics (World music, Jazz...).
For Claire : I'm open minded to discover any music, or book or movie, my tastes being very diversified.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To live and work with different indigenous tribes in Amazonia during 5 month and the cusuming of medicinal plants with them (Ayahuasca, San Pedro...).

Teach, Learn, Share

a lot of things..... but for example :
For Juan: I enjoy learn news differents music styles. I can give gypsy singing clases and gypsy technics guitar.
For Claire : I like to learn different drawing technics and it's posible to teach the one I know.
We enjoy share politic points of wiew, cooking recepies and we would like to learn more about organic farming and permaculture.
